Do You Know the New Projects in CBNU?
Á¦ 165 È£    ¹ßÇàÀÏ : 2016.05.30

The CBNU student council is receiving good publicity from students because they have performed their duties very well. The duties are about an election campaign pledge to increases the number of convenient facilities. The CBNU student council pledged to increase convenient facilities like a Nap Zone and a Recruiting Room. Students who feel tired or have some spare time between classes can sit back and relax in that place. The Recruiting Room is constructed right next to the Nap Zone. Students can use this room as a meeting room or a study room. If you want to use the room, write down your name, major and time on the paper posted on the wall.
The CBNU student council also announced other new projects. The Boongboonyi rental project is one of them. The Boongboongyi rental project is a rental service which helps students¡¯ convenient transportation using a bicycle or kickboard anytime and anywhere. The Boongboongyi rental project is managed by the CBNU student council and the CBNU Consumer Cooperation.
Rental items are bicycles and kickboards. There are five items and the prices are different depending on whether you are a member of the CBNU Consumer Cooperation Association or not. The fees for the bicycle and kickboard are the same. The fee for members is 1,000 won, and non-members pay 1,500 won. This rental service has a late fee. The late fee is 2,000 won a day, and a lender should return items by the next day at noon.
The Jim Carry project is another project run by the CBNU Consumer Cooperation. Students can use the CBNU Consumer Cooperation truck in order to move their heavy loads easily. Jim Carry started in 2015, but many students don¡¯t use it because it has problems like short usable distances. The CBNU Consumer Cooperation¡¯s Oh Jeong-taek said, ¡°Last year, I had feedback from students that Jim Carry¡¯s usable distances were too short. Therefore, we expanded its possible distances within a radius off 1.5km from CBNU.¡± Jim Carry¡¯s maximum usage time is 30 minutes. The prices are different depending on whether you are a member of the CBNU Consumer Cooperation Association or not and whether the truck needs to leave campus or not. The members¡¯ fee while staying on campus is 10,000 won, but it is 15,000 for an off-campus trip. The non-members¡¯ on-campus fee is 15,000 won and the off-campus fee is 17,000 won. The truck is available to use anywhere inside the school and within a radius of 1.5km from CBNU. Students who want to use these two projects can apply on the CBNU Consumer Cooperation site.
These two projects are cheap and accessible for everyone. Moreover, they help the CBNU Consumer Cooperation as well as students. The CBNU Consumer Cooperation said, ¡°These projects will be a good chance to let students know about our association and increase our positive image by providing real-life conveniences to students.¡±
