Last autumn, H1N1 was prevalent all over the world. CBNU installed hand sterilizers in every college for preventing H1N1. However, the danger of H1N1 decreased, so the use of hand sterilizers decreased, too.
 For 5 days from the 22nd of April, CBT checked  the condition of hand sterilizers in every college. The condition of the hand sterilizers was a little bad, and dust had collected on most hand sterilizers because the facilities were cleaned rarely. In addition, several hand sterilizers didn't work properly or did not have any antiseptic solution.
 CBT contacted with the administration of each college because CBT wanted to confirm whether they were checking the hand sterilizers or not. The staff members said that the changing of the antiseptic solution is checked by themselves and that the janitors of each college are responsible for cleaning the hand sterilizers. However, the staff members didn't have a regular inspection of cleaning. One manager, who managed the hand sterilizers,  confessed that he neglected the management of hand sterilizers because students didn't use the equipment frequently. Another manager said it isn't a big problem if the equipment isn't checked regularly because hand sterilizers don't need checking like water purifiers. Meanwhile, a manager of a college said he asked for repairs from 'Puriwell,' which manufactured the hand sterilizers, because the nozzles were clogged, but 'Puriwell' delayed repairs.
  It is very serious that the equipment for sanitation of students is neglected. Far from sanitary, the hand sterilizers breed bacteria instead. Each college has to establish regular management and check their equipment.
