After the long winter passed, a new semester begins for the freshmen. However, it is difficult for the freshman to learn information about campus. Therefore, CBT will introduce about the CBNU homepage, which helps students find useful information. While students are on campus, they sometimes use the CBNU homepage. They use it to register for lectures, to check the campus map and to confirm many things, like dormitory rooms.

As the saying goes ¡®The early birds catch the worm¡¯, the diligent birds in university also have many opportunities. There are various programs for students in university. However, it is up to students to search and participate in them actively. In March, CBT would like to introduce the Communication Education Center, which provides many beneficial programs to students.
 
There are students who went to the UK through the Humanities Finder Project during winter vacation. They learned about the importance of traditional markets while in the UK, and they were interviewed by the CBT to introduce traditional markets to encourage students to participate in cultural activities such as festivals and events held in traditional markets.
 
Osaka is a city in Japan and is a tourist attraction that many tourists visit. Osaka has many things to eat and enjoy, and many tourists go there for shopping. A CBT reporter decided to visit Osaka for a vacation to experience Japan and give the readers an indirect experience. Dotonbori is a crowded street in Osaka and is a place where many people enjoy shopping. There are cosmetic products, a drug store that sells miscellaneous items, cheap necessities and Don Quixote, a store where people can buy snacks.
 
There is a YouTuber, a grandmother named Park Mak-rye, who is loved by many people for her various challenges, regardless of age. Recently, a video of Mrs. Park Mak-rye received much attention. This was a video clip that showed the grandmother having trouble choosing the menu she wanted when placing an order with an unmanned kiosk at a fast food restaurant. Some people welcome the convenience of unmanned systems and digitalization, but others cannot laugh at the change.
 
This winter, the drama ¡®SKY Castle¡¯, which was broadcast on JTBC, recorded the highest viewing rate ever. This drama became hugely popular. The topic of this drama was the overheated education system. In some ways, people could feel bored with this topic. How did this drama find success? The drama showed some families who tried to solidify their status by secretly hiring university admissions coordinators for their kids to enter Seoul Medical School.
 
¡®Trend Korea¡¯ is a book series where professors of each field research and write the upcoming trends of Korea for the Consumption Trend Analysis Center of Seoul National University. The CBT figured out the future trends of Korea through ¡®Trend Korea¡¯. The keywords that ¡®Trend Korea¡¯ has suggested since 2007 consist of 10 letters relating to each year¡¯s animal. The keyword of 2019, the Year of the Swine, is Piggy Dream.
 
There is a saying, ¡°What goes around comes around.¡¯¡¯ Recently, restoration is in fashion. However, this restoration is different from before when people were just feeling nostalgic. The younger generations, who have not experienced past things, created a new culture by enjoying retro in a different way. This phenomenon is called ¡®new-tro¡¯. (This term was introduced in the book ¡®Trend Korea 2019¡¯.) It is a portmanteau of ¡®new¡¯ and ¡®retro¡¯, and it refers to restoration with a new look and function.
