Last Apr. 29, the CBNU Workplace Daycare Center opened, and it is operating independently of the daycare center affiliated with the College of Human Ecology. CBT met Yoo Ae-hyeong, who is the director of the CBNU Workplace Daycare Center, and asked her to provide information to parents who don¡¯t know about the center.
 
Jeonju Hanok Village is a famous tourist spot located in Pungnamdong, Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, Jeollabukdo. The popularity of Hanok villages is growing day by day, drawing not only domestic tourists but also foreign ones. Since 2016, ten million tourists have visited a Hanok village each year. Jeonju is one of the more popular travel destinations, capturing the eyes of tourists with a variety of food and special activities. There was a hit drama, SKY Castle, which was broadcasted early this year. In this drama, the character Cha Seri was introduced as a Harvard University student. All of the neighbors envied her, but in the latter half of the show, it turned out that she lied about her educational background. Cha Seri had pretended to everyone that she was a Harvard student, and the truth shocked everyone. Many people thought this was similar to a real event that occurred later.
 
Recently, through many media broadcasts, there has been news that Korean celebrities and family members of conglomerate owners were caught using illegal drugs. Koreans are still in shock after hearing this news. Korea has been stringent on drug use, and its efforts for the prevention of drug use have been very exhaustive. For these reasons, Korea was a drug-safe country and had a nickname as a ¡°drug-free nation¡± for a while. However, the drug problem is increasing these days, so many people are worried about this issue of illegal drugs.
 
While the popularity of The Avengers: Endgame in Korea has been so high that it is being called Marvel Korea, the Avengers craze is causing changes at movie theaters. It is the final installment in the Avengers series, where the heroes became the last hope to save the universe. It surpassed 10 million viewers in just two weeks after its box office release. As a result of its popularity, movie theaters and viewers alike are thoroughly preparing for the movie.
 
Airbnb, Uber, Facebook, Apple, Alibaba. What do these companies have in common? These companies are platform businesses. Airbnb surpassed Marriott¡¯s profits. Uber exceeded BMW¡¯s market value despite having only one-tenth of the employees. The perfect product helped with Apple¡¯s success, but Apple outdid Blackberry¡¯s and Nokia¡¯s sales volumes only after introducing its app store. The upturns of companies using a platform don¡¯t only apply to overseas companies. There are many platform companies in Korea in IT, finance, marketing, and distribution.
 
The Republic of Korea divides its powers into three parts: legislative, administrative, and judicial. Each part has the task of keeping the others in check. If this separation is not maintained correctly, a dictatorship and/or corruption of public officials can occur easily. That is why the founding of a bureau to investigate the corruption of high-ranking government officials has emerged. The bill has consistently been pursued since the late 1990s, but it was never passed.
 
I have felt a burden that I have to succeed early in life. I have heard that one should do well in school and that one has to be a great person. I also heard that one has to go to the best universities, and then one can get a decent job. I didn¡¯t hear these rules from my parents. Society and the media are the ones who have repeated these guidelines.
