Á¦ 123 È£    ¹ßÇàÀÏ : 2011.04.04

You have stepped forward in your first step to explore your college life as a new member of the CBNU family. Almost one month has passed since you came into this new world, and now you have four years waiting ahead of you. Being a freshman can be challenging, and very important because your freshman year sets the foundational stage for your entire life. Sometimes, you may think that you shouldn't worry about your future yet, just because you are a freshman. Sometimes, you may also think that college can be the most exciting time in your life and you should enjoy it for the time being, but you should also remember that your current actions can affect your capability necessary to lead the rest of your life.
It may not seem that you need it now, but how you act and what you are doing now can be critical in making a huge influence on your tomorrow, especially in getting a job at the time of your graduation. Not many freshmen are yet subjected to a fresh dose of the CBNU's educational system immediately upon entrance. The CBNU's educational objective is to bring its students up to become a global expert with creative, active, and community-friendly consciousness through the four-year education system. Now, there are several steps you have to get access to this system and take to set yourself up for success in the future.
First of all, you have to think hard about what interests you or what you want to do in your future. Your profound thinking today says a lot about what kind of future you might have later. Second, make sure to meet college counselors in the CBNU Career Center, or professors to discuss education or career options, who can help you to choose the right directions in terms of your career or study. With the help of counselors or professors, you can find out more about the possible future jobs that interest you, and educational requirements and other skills that can decide what¡¯s best for you. Now, you can see what you need and what you have to do during your college days. Once you have the opportunity to get information, you can set time goals for yourself, that helps make sure that you stay on track especially for your future. You are more likely to be productive and positive if you have goals to attain. It's not too early for you to start thinking about how to develop your study skills, and how to complete college successfully with wonderful grades and abilities necessary to be a global citizen. Your college time is what you make of it, and starting out making the right decisions now is the best way to establish your base for the rest of your life.
