Cheonansamgeori Park: where you can experience nature and history at the same time
You might be acquainted with the phrase ¡°*Cheonansamgeori Heung~¢Ý¡± from the folk song ¡°*Heungtaryeong.¡± Cheonansamgeori Park was made to commemorate the renowned Cheonansamgeori. This park is also called ¡°Martin Park¡± because Martin, the U.S. Military colonel, died at the place in the Korean War. In Cheonansamgeori Park, you can take a stroll while breathing fresh air. Independence Memorial Hall: where the spirit of Korea breathes In 1982, our nation got angry because Japan distorted history textbooks. Therefore, the Independence Memorial Hall (IMH) was founded through our nation¡¯s fund-raising. Before entering ¡°The Grand Hall of the Nation,¡± which exists in the middle of IMH, you can proudly see the fluttering 815 national flags of Korea. It was set up to commemorate the restoration of independence in 2005, and anybody who loves their fatherland can hoist own their Taegeukgi. In IMH, the place where you can experience *tuho and play on traditional musical instruments. Also, a four-dimensional film which is cinematized, ¡°*Cheongsalli Fight,¡± is shown. You can see dynamic pictures and feel just like you are in the spot where the incident took place. Yu Kwan-soon Historical Site: where you can experience her passionate love of Korea Yu Kwan-soon Historical Site consists of the Yu Kwan-soon Memorial Hall, a bronze statue and a shrine. Yu Kwan-soon Memorial Hall provides various contents: the place where you can experience prison life and stamp Taegeukgi to name two. There is Mt. Maebong behind the Yu Kwan-soon Historical Site. Along the mountain road, there are many stone monuments to memorialize Yu Kwan-soon. Yu Kwan-soon said, ¡°I can endure the pain of my cut ears and my broken legs.
