What does the GD do?
The GD monitors how well independent student bodies use student fees and department fees. The student fee is 10,000 won, and the department fee is 195,000 won ~ 200,000 won. The GD monitors the Student Central Independent Bodies, and college delegations monitor college student associations and departmental student associations. Delegations are always monitoring independent student bodies.
Additionally, financial audits on the student bodies are common as we look at operating evaluations, and GD has the right of approving student executives.
How are the audits implemented?
Basically, each audit is implemented by following the examination rules, and the rules consist of the student body rules, detailed audit rules and detailed election rules. When we start the examination process, we face some kinds of troubles with the bodies because of the complex and strict auditing process. However by doing this, we think that we can enhance the credibility of the examination process. During the examination process period, nothing strange usually happens, but last year was a little special. The GD took a petition from students about the general club chairman, and it was passed through the regular general meeting.
What is the difference between the GD and college delegations?
College delegations are elected by each college¡¯s students. However, the GD is elected in the last regular general meeting by the meeting¡¯s members such as each colleges¡¯ chairman, vice chairman, standing members of the delegation, and each department¡¯s junior representatives. The work is not different, but the target is different.
