CBNU Students Awarded Prize in the 7th Chungbuk IT Contest for the Disabled(CICD)
On May 19th, Lee Hyeon-kyeon(Department of Political Science and Diplomacy) received the grand prize from the Minister of Employment and Labor in the 7th CICD, which was held in Cheongju University Millennium Gallery and was supervised by Chungbuk Association of the Disabled. Also, Yun Bo-mi(Korean Language and Literature) received an excellence award in information searching, Yi Yu-beom(Department of Public Administration) received an excellence award in word processing, Hong Seung-pyo(Information and Communication Engineering) received an excellence award in MS-tool, and Hwang Je-man(Biochemistry) received an participation award in MS-tool.
CBNU Held the Coming of Age Day¡¯s Celebration On May 21st, Chungbuk National University held the 40th Coming of Age Day's celebration for 2,000 enrolled students who turned 20 years old. In the celebration, college president Kim Seung-taek emphasized, "Being an adult means being accepted as a complete person and fulfilling responsibilities and obligations." He offered his congratulations to the 20-year-old students.
CIA Will Hold the 2012 Summer English Career Camp CBNU Center for International Affairs(CIA) will hold the CBNU 2012 Summer English Career Camp to improve enrolled students¡¯ English ability and employment capability on 25 June-20 July. It accomplishes custom training through practice tests and English conversation level tests. In addition, CIA will implement a study group. It will improve the effects of learning. Students who obtain superior grades in this camp will receive scholarships in the end. The period for recruiting is on 21 May-5 June.
