Planning helps to give people direction and helps them to stay on the right path of what they want to do. Therefore, a plan is like a compass and is very necessary during vacations because some people may tend to be lazy when they have more free time. How do students feel about making and following a plan for their vacation? CBT conducted a survey of 200 CBNU students to find know about their plans for this vacation.
CBT asked, ¡®Do you make a plan before the vacation starts?¡¯ More than 90% of the students answered ¡®Yes.¡¯ The contents of the plans were mostly ¡®to study for my major and English.¡¯ Students also answered ¡®to find a part time job to earn money¡¯ and ¡®to take a trip to get experience.¡¯ On the question about why students don¡¯t plan for their vacation, 21% of the students replied that ¡®Planning is difficult.¡¯ The most common answer, ¡®I plan, but I don¡¯t keep my plan well¡¯ was given by 71% . We can see that the students who don¡¯t plan also have had experience in planning but don¡¯t plan now because their previous plans were ineffective.
CBT asked, ¡®How well do you keep your plan?¡¯ 47% of the students said, ¡®The plan annoyed me¡¯ and 43% replied, ¡®I didn¡¯t have enough time.¡¯ We should take notice that there are many students who don¡¯t keep their plans because their purpose is weak, not because their plan goes wrong.
To the question about the necessity of a plan, 89% of the students felt that planning is useful. 60% of the students who don¡¯t plan for vacations agreed that planning is useful. Furthermore, 91% of the students who plan their vacation think that a plan is useful. These results show that both the students who plan and the students who don¡¯t plan agree that planning is important.
