¾öÄ«, ½Ã°­, ¶òÀÛ, Ä¿¿±´Ù, and ´ó´óÀÌ. How many new words do you know among these five? These words are newly-coined words which are particularly prevalent in teens and twentysomethings¡¯ daily lives. ¡®¾öÄ«¡¯ and ¡®½Ã°­¡¯ mean ¡®mother¡¯s card¡¯ and ¡®catching one¡¯s eyes¡¯ respectively. They are abbreviations. ¶òÀÛ and Ä¿¿±´Ù are called ¾ß¹ÎÁ¤À½, which are pretty much the same as ¸íÀÛ(masterpiece) and ±Í¿±´Ù(cute).
 
The Language of Teens and Twentysomethings
 
Recently, the Korean market has seen more products using characters to sell their wares. Regardless of the industry, the popularity of characters selling products is increasing. 7-eleven, which is a convenience store, signed a license agreement with Pokemon Korea to launch a variety of products using Pokemon. Also, Lotteria introduced Pokemon products targeting various age groups, ranging from children to adults, using characters such as Mazinga Z and Gude Tama.
 
Recently, the methods of donation are evolving in an attempt to bring more fun to the process. These donations are called ¡®funations¡¯ by Koreans. This word is a compound word of ¡®fun¡¯ and ¡®donation¡¯. It is a fun and pleasurable way to donate. Funation began after a change of people¡¯s perceptions about donations.
 
Looking at past released movies, we can find movies based on history quite often. Although they were successful, they were embroiled in controversy due to their distortions of history. Therefore, we will look at the reasons for the popularity of history movies and why they distorted history just to achieve commercial success.
 
Consciously or unconsciously, we all want democracy as a primary principle of our political life and a form of government that are built on our general consent. Democracy is now not an optional choice but a mandatory one for those who want to live in a liberal, equal society. Indeed, democracy is always an amalgam of a strand of liberal philosophy, a fabric of equal polity, and a mode of democratic life, which has been fashioned and transformed throughout modern history. In particular, modern democracy as a historical entity, established alongside of the rise of nationalism and capitalism that collectively opened a new world of diversities, has enclosed a large multitude of heterogeneous individuals and their visions, desires, and practices in a certain geopolitical boundaries and social limits, thereby evincing its increasing yet unresolved complexities and contradictions.
 
In universities, unlike middle and high schools, you can spend time outside of class freely. A student can join a club or spend a day doing their hobbies. I am spending my own time meeting various people from all over the country through extra-curricular activities. However, every time I do them, I constantly feel that they are not making me a more useful person.
 
What kind of purpose do you have when you travel? People usually travel for a new beginning, a break, self-development, or a tour. To me, a trip is a sheet of drawing paper, and going abroad is a white sheet of drawing paper that will be filled with other places, emotions and people.
 
These days, people easily take pictures with their phones and then easily erase them. However, the moment is easily forgotten. On the other hand, pictures taken with film cameras are usually retained for a long time and provide memories from the past.
