All members of CBT started to untie the cloth of the Balwoo bowl one by one, following the Monk¡¯s Jukbi sound. The expressions of those who joined the Balwoo Gongyang were very earnest. In a solemn atmosphere, I followed this process, but I was unpracticed in my first experience. Also, everyone had to be completely quiet and keep their posture straight. Moreover, they shouldn¡¯t show the others their face when eating. I enjoyed having meals everyday. However, swallowing the food piece by piece was stressful. After drinking the water with which I washed the bowls, I didn¡¯t feel like I had had a meal, but like I had finished some work. However, the bowls cleaned with water and pickled radish were bright and clean. Seeing the cleaned bowls, I could be a little more aware of the preciousness of meals in daily life and the ascetic mind of the Buddhist priest. All members also examined themselves at these ordinary times when seeing the empty bowls, and we had peace of mind in the end.
